So January has been dedicated to be the month of resolutions, reflections and goals for 2015. Last week I reflected on the one year anniversary of Breaking The Momma Mold and Starting a Blog.
This week I wanted to look back on having been a little fam of 3 a short 7 months ago and growing to a family of 5 in a matter of hours. Before the twins arrived I could not wrap my head around sharing the love for another two babies. Big Sis already held my entire heart, didn’t she? I mean, the heart is not the biggest organ in my body… it’s not like I’m loving all these people with like say something the size of my ass. So how could it hold much more??

Oh, Friend, I just met you and I adore you. I, too, had a 3 year old (son) when 2 precious twin boys were born at this house. They are now 18, 15 and 15 and it is has been the craziest and yet most joyful and yet most heartbreaking journey of my life! Congratulations. We are a set apart breed of incredibly strong women, us moms of multiples. Blessings on you all!
Dear Jennifer, You bring a tear to my eye! 🙂 It’s always so so great to meet another woman that has already (and continues) to raise young chaos to now what you have, older chaos! (I may be more scared of the ages 18 & 15!) It’s always reassuring to see that people survive this crazy, wonderful journey. Also! I look forward to following along your running journey! I am currently training for my 4th half marathon and what a difference you feel in your body after having twins! One stride at a time, right!? Guess that can go with the twins too.
Oh my goodness that picture of you and your husband is hilarious! Yes goodbye to space, time, money and welcome to a house of big old wonderful crazy! Your girls are adorable and yes who does bonk babies heads on door frames, pretty much everyone!
Congratulations on your year anniversary! And I love the idea of writing a letter to your daughter. I’m expecting baby #2 in a couple weeks, and am in the process of making a big sister took kit for my first born now. She’s going to love it, but maybe I’ll write her a letter as well. Thanks for sharing the idea=)
